This Privacy Policy describes how Katre Ajans Yazılım A.Ş. (Katre Advertising) ("we", "us", "our"), based in Ordu, Türkiye, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website (katreajans.com.tr) and our social media management applications operated on our subdomains (the "Services"), including our tools that connect to third-party platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

1. Who we are

Katre Advertising is a digital agency providing web development, social media management, and digital advertising services. Our social media management tools are used internally by our team to create, schedule, and publish content to social media accounts that we own or manage with authorization.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, and login credentials for users of our internal tools.
Social platform authorization data: when a user connects a social media account (e.g., a TikTok account) through the platform's official OAuth flow, we receive and store access tokens and basic profile information (such as account name, avatar, and account identifiers) provided by that platform.
Content data: text, images, and videos that users create and upload through our Services for the purpose of publishing to connected social accounts.
Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use information

To publish and schedule content to connected social media accounts, only as explicitly requested by the user.
To display connected account names and engagement information (such as comments and like counts) inside our tools.
To operate, maintain, and secure the Services.

We do not use platform data for advertising to third parties, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the Services described above.

4. TikTok and other third-party platforms

Our Services access third-party platforms (including TikTok) exclusively through their official APIs and only after the account owner grants permission via the platform's own authorization (OAuth) screen. Access tokens are stored encrypted. We only perform actions that the user explicitly initiates (such as publishing a video the user has uploaded). Users can revoke our access at any time from the settings of the relevant platform (for TikTok: Settings → Security → Apps and services), and revocation immediately prevents further access.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Data is shared only with the social media platforms themselves (as required to publish content on the user's behalf) and with infrastructure providers (hosting) strictly as needed to operate the Services.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain data only for as long as needed to provide the Services. Users may request deletion of their data (including stored tokens and content) at any time by contacting us at info@katreajans.net. Upon a verified request, we delete the relevant data within 30 days. Disconnecting a social account from our tools also deletes the stored access token for that account.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including HTTPS for all traffic and encryption (AES-256) for stored access tokens. Access to our tools is restricted to authorized users.

8. Children

Our Services are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
